Traditional Arabian Love Story

What is Traditional Arabian Love Story about (Plot Synopsis)?

In a grand house where every word is watched and every gesture measured, a young woman named Farida lives under the weight of her father's rule. She writes at night, her fingers stained with ink, and dreams of signing her own name somewhere no one can scrub it away. When the Sultan and his Wazir summon her, they deliver a decree: in ten days, she will be married to Prince Ryan of the Northern Coast to seal a political alliance. Her father warns her that refusal means ruin for every servant and child under their name. Trapped, Farida confides in Zahra, a servant who tells her that the only way out of the house is through the garden, like everyone who has ever been in love. With nine days left, Farida slips out into the city for the first time in her life. She meets Yasmin, a lantern maker who teaches her that broken things are not thrown away, and that glass does not make the light—it only decides what shape it takes. As the wedding approaches, Farida must decide whether to return to the life that was written for her or to claim a future she has only dared to imagine.
