What is Jesus Is King about?

In a world led by desire rather than truth, a narrator intones that darkness was never the end—because a promise remained. Joseph, a carpenter, works furiously, trying to outrun his thoughts. Gabriel confronts him: anger usually means love was there first. Joseph admits he trusted Mary, gave her everything, and now feels like a fool. The baby is not his, and even if it were, it's impossible. Gabriel urges him not to destroy the child out of fear, saying every child carries something greater than the fear around them. If God enters the world, he will not come as a king. Love the child as he loves you. Joseph hears God and wakes Mary, telling her they must flee at night. Mary accuses him of cruelty, but Joseph explains a dream: an angel spoke, and they must raise and protect God's child. Meanwhile, King Herod, a tyrant who abuses a slave and threatens his own general, boasts in a rap that he runs this world. As Mary endures labor pains, Joseph stays by her side, and brothers gather to wait and pray. Zélimoé arrives after a long journey, and the threat of Herod looms over the holy family.
