What is Dragonfall about?

A weary crew of an Empire ship finally sights home after a long voyage, their spirits high with dreams of taverns and ale. But their celebration is cut short when something stirs beneath the water—a rotten log at first, then a monstrous sea dragon that erupts from the deep. As the creature attacks, panic spreads, and the crew fights desperately with axes and cannon fire. In the chaos, a lone swordsman emerges, leaping into the fray to save a comrade and driving the beast back. The crew hails him as a hero, but the battle is far from over. The dragon retreats, leaving the ship damaged and the crew shaken, yet alive. The swordsman's name is Rick, and his actions have made him a target for both admiration and envy. Meanwhile, on the docks, a new threat brews: the dragon hunting squad, led by the formidable Captain Hay, has recruited two newcomers who must prove their worth against Nanuk, the strongest warrior from the frozen north. As bets are placed and tensions rise, the newcomers face a brutal test of strength and survival. The captain watches, eager to see what they are made of, while the crew's victory over the sea dragon becomes a distant memory. In a world where monsters lurk beneath the waves and warriors clash on land, the line between hero and prey blurs. The dragon may have been driven off, but the real battle for survival is just beginning.
